Success Die + COOL vs Target Number

  • Success: The character has overcome the fear and may continue to act—no further test is required for the same threat or situation during this game session.
  • Failure: Lose your Initiative Bonus (DEX & CONC).

Fear Rating Modifier Examples
-1 In a squad, outnumbering the enemy at least 3–1
+1 Outnumbered at least 3 to 1, alone, in pitch black darkness, injured (lost at least 25% of Hit Points), being poisoned, being interrogated, being in Cannibal Sector 1, successful Intimidate skill roll.
